One Year Home

First Family Photo!

What a difference a year makes! This time last year, we were getting ready to pull out of the parking lot at O'Hare. Doyle was very tired and not sure about us as he was very vocal (crying.) At the airport that night, Grandma & Grandpa W, Uncle John & Aunt Marcia were there from Mom's side of the family. From Dad's side, Aunt Bridget & Uncle Tom and Aunt Carol. (Grandma C. was getting the play by play from Aunt Carol on the cell phone.) As you can tell from the photo we were overjoyed with our new son. He slept the entire ride home and woke up as soon as we pulled in the driveway. Doyle & Mom spent the first night getting to know each other and walking the floor. Dad was busy still harvesting crops.

Doyle has come along way since that night and he is truly the best thing in our lives. Happy Gotcha Day, Family Day, Adopitvus (taken from another blog.)!!! Happy 20 month Birthday Doyle!
